Hello and welcome!
I have worked in the healthcare field as a Nurse for 15-years, in long-term care, psychiatry, and palliative care. I hold a diploma (Honours) in Women’s Studies from Yukon University, a bachelor of science degree in Nursing from the University of Alberta, and a masters degree (Honours) in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
During my career, I gained extensive experience supporting people through life transitions and worked with individuals experiencing grief and loss. In addition, I have considerable experience working with clients who have chronic pain conditions, autism, and ADHD. I have also worked with survivors of domestic violence and abuse, and served as team lead on Yukon’s sexual assault response team.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC# 11246887), and a professional member, in good standing, of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
